Why do we enjoy horses? Each one of us would answer in many varying and differing ways.

Some would just say, " I dunno, I just love being around them!" and a fair enough answer that would be -

For me, in the mist of our modern hussle and bussle life - the working for a dollar, the bills, the timetables, the intrusions of modern technology, the traffic - you name it - all the intricacies in todays life. There's just something unique about coming home and saying g'day to my trusty steed. Something unique about saddling up and cantering alongside half a dozen roos during a trail ride or startling a fox out of the bushes - something unique about feeling in unison with a well balanced collected horse approaching a decent sized oxer. Something uniquely satisfying about washing him down, mixing up a good feed and watching as he eats. Tugging his ear affectionately while saying goodnight.
